Hi all,
We ventured down to the Sunshine State Airoh Series which was being held at Coolum for round 2.
This drive was little longer than most about 8 hrs sitting in the sprinter. Saturday practice went well laid down some fast laps while track was smooth.
Race one wasn't the best I've ridden ended up 3rd with with some bike problems and a lay over in one of the corners.
Between race 1 & 2 dad got the bike sorted with a different engine set up and suspension.
Race 2 we came out around turn 1 in 2nd position and made my way to the front finishing with 1st place.
Race 3 found my self in 4th position in lap one only managed to make it back to 2nd with another tip over in the soft Coolum sand.
This weekend we positioned ourselves tying with first overall with 97 points which meant 2nd on count back, we learnt a lot in regards to track positioning and bike set up looking forward to some hard pack rounds coming up.
